Norwegian Air Shuttle is a low-cost European airline with headquarters located in Fornebu, Norway. It was founded 1993 and is part of the Airlines for Europe alliance. The company has a fleet of more than 100 aircraft that fly to well over 100 destinations primarily in Europe, but also to international hotspots such as to the United States. Norwegian Air Shuttle has a number of operating bases in Europe including Madrid, Copenhagen, Oslo and also London, where its long haul hub can be found. International centres include Bangkok and New York JFK.
Many Norwegian flights travel in and around Europe, including a number of flights to Italian destinations such as Rome, Venice and Pisa, plus the Spanish cities of Palma, Madrid and Lanzarote. The airline also flies to the British destinations of Edinburgh and Birmingham, as well as to its long haul hub at London Gatwick Airport. Other long haul routes include flights to the American destinations of New York City, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
