Qatar's national flag carrier Qatar Airways was founded in 1994. It is headquartered in Doha, Qatar, and is wholly owned by the government of Qatar. The company's main hub is located at Hamad International Airport, which is also in Doha. The airline's fleet of over 170 aircraft serve more than 150 destinations all across the globe, covering the Middle East, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Europe. The fleet consists of a mixture of Airbus and Boeing planes. The most common aircraft in Qatar Airways is the Airbus A320, although there are nearly as many Boeing 777s and Boeing 787s.
Among Qatar Airways' most popular routes are their flights to Doha, London, Bangkok and Dubai. It operates codeshare flights with a large number of other airlines, including Air France, American Airlines and Cathay Pacific. The company is also a member of the oneworld alliance, having joined in 2013.
