Based in Luton, United Kingdom at the London Luton Airport, easyJet is a low-cost airline that flies to more than 30 different countries, with some of the most popular easyJet flights those to Copenhagen, Paris and Berlin. Along with Ryanair, it is one of the largest low-cost airlines with a fleet of over 200 aircraft, comprised of a mixture of Airbus and Boeing planes. This airline used to previously have a codeshare agreement with Transaero Airlines, which is a Russian airline that operated a Moscow to London route. It is not a member of any alliances, although it does have an arrangement with Emirates which allows Emirates Skywards members to use their miles to book easyJet flights.

Passengers on easyJet flights must check in online if they want to avoid being charged for checking in at the airport. Online check-in opens 30 days before a flight's departure and closes 2 hours before the scheduled leave time. Passengers can also check in either on the internet or by using the app, available for free on both iPhone and Android. Those using the mobile app to check in will receive a mobile boarding pass. To complete online check-in passengers will need their booking reference number. If they didn't enter their passport number when they booked the flight, they will also need to do that during check-in.
